weekends with jenna
Personal Notes

Have a Cozy Weekend!

What are you up to this weekend? We’re conceptualizing stuff for training we’re not even familiar with while keeping a straight head with everything around us. Busy minds, busy brains, and all we have to keep the balance is the news that we accomplished another step on an ongoing project. We’re also reading Shamus Dust by Janet Roger this weekend, and we’re having Rain Reads write a review of it.

With the storm upon us this weekend and the chaos of “busyness” at work, here are some interesting links for your weekend reading…

Random Thoughts:

It’s true that I can do certain things like brainstorming and coming up with something crazy, but only if I was given enough time to do it. For someone like me who has a lot of rituals, I cannot guarantee the success and quality of a certain task if it is rushed or half-baked.

I realized that people’s words are scary that it tends to pull you with them when your guard is down. When I thought about it, I had to look for something to pull me back up. Whew, that was close.

Starbucks notified me: Birthday Treat Extension until July 15. Lucky me! So I guess we’re heading there for something sweet and delicate, soon after my dental visit. Urgh. To braces or not to braces?

Opening up. To people. Not an easy endeavor. Not my cuppa tea. Why? I feel vulnerable, I feel weak, I feel easy. And I don’t want that. But if I opened up to you, it’s either you caught me off guard or I’m really in a bad spot where I can’t take things anymore. So all I can say is, Thank You.
